Delivery Area

We deliver to MAINLAND GREAT BRITAIN ONLY to premises accessible via the national road network in England, Scotland and Wales. We do not accept orders for delivery to Channel Islands, Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland or any of the Scottish Islands. |
Delivery Charges for Mainland England, Scotland and Wales
| In order to keep our selling prices as competitive as possible Deskshop uses different delivery routes and delivery charges for different ranges of products as outlined below. Many products are dispatched by the manufacturer as this is very often the most cost effective method and in many cases delivery charges are subsidised by the manufacturer. It is not possible to consolidate orders containing multiple products shipped via different routes into a single delivery. |
| The delivery charge for an order is calculated at checkout as the sum of the charges for the different delivery routes used. Delivery charges shown below are all plus VAT. |

FREE DELIVERY* for ROUTE 1 products to mainland England, Wales and southern Scotland. A delivery charge is calculated at checkout for Scottish Highlands and delivery is estimated at up to 3 working days.
If a NEXT WORKING DAY ROUTE 1 DELIVERY fails because nobody is available to receive the goods when the carrier arrives at the delivery premises, a £20 Failed Delivery Charge will be invoiced to the customer to help cover additional charges invoiced by the carrier. |

£20 for delivery of ROUTE 2 products with DELIVERY ONLY SERVICE to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. If a customer requests a SPLIT ROUTE 2 DELIVERY for any reason (including if part of an order is out of stock) an additional £20 charge will be payable per additional delivery. Route 2 delivery only is to ground floor building entrance only. Most desks, bookcases, cupboards and chairs will need to be assembled by customer. |

£50 for delivery of ROUTE 2 products with OPTIONAL INSTALLATION SERVICE to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. If a customer requests a SPLIT ROUTE 2 INSTALLATION for any reason (including if part of an order is out of stock) an additional £50 charge will be payable per additional site visit. |

£15 for delivery of ROUTE 3 products to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. If a customer requests a SPLIT ROUTE 3 DELIVERY for any reason (including if part of an order is out of stock) an additional £15 charge will be payable per additional site visit. |

£15 for delivery of ROUTE 4 products to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. If a customer requests a SPLIT ROUTE 4 DELIVERY for any reason (including if part of an order is out of stock) an additional £15 charge will be payable per additional site visit. |
Delivery Arrangements

ROUTE 1 NEXT DAY DELIVERIES ARE NOT BOOKED IN
ROUTE 1 products ordered on a normal working day (Monday-Friday) before 4pm will usually be delivered on the NEXT WORKING DAY (subject to allocation in full by the manufacturers warehouse allocation system).
A delivery time cannot be allocated and delivery should be between 8:30am and 5:30pm. If we become aware that a Route 1 order has not shipped as expected by the manufacturer we will endeavour to notify our customers. Route 1 delivery is to ground floor building entrance or vehicle tailgate only.
Most desks, bookcases, cupboards and chairs will need to be assembled. Most filing cabinets and pedestals are pre-assembled. |

ROUTE 2 DELIVERIES ARE PRE-NOTIFIED BY PHONE
ROUTE 2 products are usually be delivered WITHIN 5 TO 10 WORKING DAYS (after goods have been allocated in full by the manufacturers warehouse allocation system). Goods are delivered through the manufacturers own logistics partners who should contact customers by phone in advance, usually a day or two before the actual delivery. Route 2 Delivery Only is to ground floor building entrance only.
Most desks, bookcases, cupboards and chairs will need to be assembled. Most filing cabinets and pedestals are pre-assembled. |

ROUTE 2 INSTALLATIONS ARE PRE-NOTIFIED BY PHONE
ROUTE 2 products are usually be installed WITHIN 5 TO 10 WORKING DAYS (after goods have been allocated in full by the manufacturers warehouse allocation system). Goods are delivered and installed through the manufacturers own furniture installation partners who should contact customers by phone in advance, usually a day or two before the actual installation. See Installation notes further down the page as to what is included with installation. |

ROUTE 3 INSTALLATIONS ARE PRE-NOTIFIED BY PHONE
We work very closely with the firm handling installation of ROUTE 3 products on our behalf and in our opinion they are one of the best in the business which we strongly recommend. ROUTE 3 stocked products are usually installed WITHIN 5 TO 7 WORKING DAYS except for remote areas of Scotland where deliveries are less frequent. For orders that include SPECIAL ORDER or MADE TO ORDER products, delivery is within 5 to 7 working days of the goods arriving from the manufacturer into the installers depot except for remote areas of Scotland. We work reasonably closely with the firm handling installation of ROUTE 4 products on our behalf. ROUTE 4 stocked products are usually installed WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS except for remote areas. For orders that include SPECIAL ORDER or MADE TO ORDER products, delivery is usually within 5 to 7 working days of the goods arriving from the manufacturer into the installers depot except for remote areas. See Installation notes further down the page as to what is included with installation. |
Installation
Installation is not available for ROUTE 1 products.
Installation is optional at checkout ROUTE 2 products.
Installation is included as standard for ROUTE 3 and ROUTE 4 products.
What is Installation?
Installation includes removal of packaging materials, any assembly that may be required, positioning the products at point of use, opportunity for the end user to inspect the installed goods in the presence of the installer.
INSTALLATION WILL BE DONE ON ANY FLOOR PROVIDING SUITABLE ACCESS IS
AVAILABLE (for Health and Safety reasons).
The installation area must be completely clear in order to allow the installation
team to assemble and install the furniture without hinderance. Installation cannot
usually be undertaken unless the customer or a representative of the customer is present
at the installation premises.
Installation charges will not be refunded if the installation team arrive at the
installation premises on the date agreed with the customer or customers representative
and the team are unable to install due to reasons under the control of the customer or
customers representative, for example if delivery is declined, if the installation area
is not clear or if there is no reasonable access to the installation area. It may be
possible to arrange for installation at a later date but additional charges may be payable
(at the discretion of the company directly handling the installation).
